On April 1-5, 2021 CONNEK invites you to see a “queer, safe, beautiful, [and] LIT” Jamaica through a variety of activities, from hiking to nights out on the town, focusing on Jamaica’s diverse beauty. It’s the perfect vacation for foreigners and staycation for locals in Jamaica looking to connect to other queer folk and liberals in Kingston. 

Our second annual trip includes workshops and family dinners to foster connection with locals, a fund mental pillar of CONNEK’s mission. Working exclusively with queer talent, allies of the community and local vendors across the board CONNEK is committed to building up the queer Kingston community thriving outside of the “resort” industry pigeon holding a lot of Jamaica’s tourism. 

CONNEK is a small start up company made of 4 young queer entrepreneurs with big dreams to make change in Jamaica. We are dedicated to working with allies in Kingston, Jamaica and small businesses who believe in the CONNEK mission. Our small and humble business partners for this trip are dedicated to queer safe spaces and building a Jamaica free of bigotry. The CONNEK PACKAGE

Whats included in the CONNEK package fee:

• Transportation to and from the airport and to all planned CONNEK events including Saturday excursions

• Entrance to all CONNECK planned tours and events, excluding the Saturday partner day excursions

• Jamaican breakfast will be provided everyday of the trip

• Tour guides and security is provided by the CONNEK team to keep everyone together, informed and safe

What’s not Included?

• Attendees should expect to bring money for lunch, dinner and libations. See full itinerary for detail

CANCELLATION POLICY
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our contractual agreements with hotels and other travel vendors will not allow us to obtain refunds after booking to guarantee our group discounts.  View the travel insurance below. The purchase of Travel Protection Insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment  just in case "what if " happens.  It is better to have insurance and not need it, than to need it and not have it! Most companies offer “cancel for any reason” coverage at a very low cost. Below are several suggested travel insurance companies. Please review  the best plan for you. You can also "Google"  "travel insurance companies", "travel insurance" or  "travel protection" for additional options.  Make sure you purchase a "Comprehensive Plan" if you would like to add your flight to your insurance later. If you have a pre-existing condition, many plans require purchase within 14-21 days of making the deposit. PAYMENTS TO CONNEK JA
1. Payments are NOT automatically drafted from your card or account. You will be sent automated reminders for a schedule you set with your CONNEK attendee application.
2. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please only email us at connekja@gmail.com. We are here to make your experience as seamless as possible and understand that sometimes things do not go as planned.  
Final payment is March 15, 2020 for all packages.

YOUR PRIVACY
CONNEK JA does not store any financial or sensitive user data on WeTravel servers. User data such as credit card numbers, bank accounts or SSNs are immediately and securely transmitted to our payment provider with bank-grade SSL encryption. Our payment provider in the US is Stripe (www.stripe.com), one of the world’s largest payment providers, used by many large internet companies such as Facebook and Twitter. WeTravel nor Global Travelers LLC do not have access at any point to the user’s financial data. 

CREDIT CARD AND ACH PAYMENTS
Payments by credit card, will incur a standard 2.9% transaction fee for Visa/Mastercard or 3.9% for AMEX. There are no fees with ACH bank account payments. ACH transfers will not post to your reservation for 5-7 business days.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT/ TRIP RESERVATION
If you at any point need to revise your payment schedule, see details about your trip or make changes please reach out to the CONNEK team who is always here to guide you. With every package purchased for international attendees CONNEK will be making a CONNEK package PDF with all the information you need for your trip, trip essential information, our personal contact information, and details about the trip to come. You as an international attendees will be added to our custom mailing list that will keep you up to date on all things CONNEK as we prepare for the trip in April 2020.
